Two years ago during the heart of the 2016 presidential campaign, Claire McCaskill staunchly defended Hillary Clinton and her use of a private email server for official State Department business:
McCASKILL: “She’s acknowledged that mistakes were made. But I think everybody needs to remember, dozens of law enforcement officers, professional law enforcement officers, and I’ve worked with the FBI and they’re no liberal Democrats, they unanimously decided that no laws had been broken. And I think people need to realize that that was the outcome of the investigation. That’s somehow gotten lost in all this.”
It should come as no surprise that McCaskill came to Hillary’s defense. These two far left liberals have quite a bit in common and their views are out-of touch with those of Missouri voters. Missourians made thier feelings known in 2016 and will have the chance to do so again with McCaskill on the ballot this fall.
