Four years ago today, Claire McCaskill’s 2009 Pilatus Aircraft PC-12 fixed wing single-engine airplane was issued an FAA certification. This plane was not McCaskill’s first however, as it was an upgrade from the 2001 Pilatus PC-12/45 aircraft that she previously owned and failed to pay over $300,000 in taxes on over four years.
What would be a luxury to most in Missouri, Millionaire Claire does not see private planes as a big deal, despite going to great lengths to hide the flightpaths of her plane from the public. She remains so out-of-touch with the people of Missouri, that she even thinks “normal people” can afford private planes:
QUESTIONER: “That’s one thing that the United States has that nobody else has is the freedom to fly around and be affordable where a normal person can afford it.”
SEN. CLAIRE McCASKILL: “Will you remind that when they come after me for my husband’s plane? That normal people can afford it.”
